Hannukkah & Advent - Would it be so hard to believe that Hannukkah is really the precedent of Advent? Hannukah was originated in the 168 BC while Advent is registred in the 480 aD. Both use candles and relate to light, one is lightened each period of time. Even more the celebration of Hannukkah takes place in the 25th day of the tenth month of the hebrew calendar.
