Caring for what God created

The earth and its fullness belong to the Lord! The world and its inhabitants belong to the Lord! - Psalm 24: 1

Consciousness and even nature itself demonstrate the existence of a higher being. Christians believe that God the Father, the Creator and sustainer, created the world. This truth is revealed and known through the Bible. God created all things out of nothing, and made us stewards of his creation.

He gave us that task for a specified time; I mean, while we live here. He also gave us access to eternal life with him through Jesus' death and resurrection for us. As children of God, through faith in Christ, we can care for and watch over all that is in this world, serving our neighbor and loving God with fervor.

PRAYER: Father, we thank you for all that you give us. Train us to be good stewards of the wealth you gave us. We ask that you stand firm and true to you. By your grace and love. Amen.
